My Year with ChatGPT

2025 wrapped from Chat GPT.

It seems that every brand does a year-in-review these days. I even got one from President’s Choice, the grocery store points program. It was more depressing than anything, but I guess when there’s a bandwagon, one must hop on.

The Chat GPT year-in-review is interactive, so you just click on through, and it will tell you about how you used the tool. I took screenshots of some key bits from mine so I could share, but the actual experience is much nicer.

It gives you a summary of the biggest projects/chats you were working on, gives you some stats about how many chats you had, your busiest day, etc. Then it gives you an archetype, which I thought was interesting. I got The Strategist.

There’s a bit of information on what the archetype is, some words associated with it, etc. I would have liked to see a bit more detail here, but still, interesting enough. I do mainly use ChatGPT to plan stuff and refine my thinking, so this seems pretty accurate to me.

After assigning you an archetype, it paints you a little picture of your past year with ChatGPT. There’s also a poem at the beginning of this whole process, I just didn’t take a screenshot of it because it wasn’t very good, so no use sharing that. The pixel painting is cute enough though. Sort of accurate. Life goals for me, maybe? That’s a killer view.

Finally you get a sort of oracle message. I like it. I secretly wish that AI could predict the future. I feel like it should be able to read the patterns well enough to tell us something… maybe the pro version does?

I do love making things, that much is true. And look forward to making more and more things in the year ahead. Probably with the help of my little robot friend here. I have ADHD, so it’s been a useful tool in setting up calendars and plans and keeping the explosion of post-it notes inside my brain in some sort of order.

Can’t wait to see the year in review for 2026 if they decide to keep doing this.
